They have gone to a whole new level.
The Democrats in the House have released a new set of rules that complies with “gender identity” ideology. The rules were drafted and pushed after a 217 to 206 party-line vote.
The rules states:
In clause 8(c)(3) of rule XXIII, strike ‘‘father, mother, son, daughter, brother, sister, uncle, aunt, first cousin, nephew, niece, husband, wife, father-in-law, mother-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, stepfather, stepmother, stepson, stepdaughter, stepbrother, step-sister, half brother, half sister, grandson, or grand-daughter’’ and insert ‘‘parent, child, sibling, parent’s sibling, first cousin, sibling’s child, spouse, parent-in-law, child-in-law, sibling-in-law, stepparent, step-child, stepsibling, half-sibling, or grandchild”.
The Left is starting to take things too far. The Republicans that have opposed the rule have chastised the Democrats for even thinking up the rule. Rep. Debbie Lesko said, “The Democrats rule package takes out words like mother and father and brother and sister in their quest to not offend anyone. They’re offending, almost all of America.”
Steve Scalise added, “I’m a proud husband, proud father of a son and a daughter — they don’t even want you to be able to say that anymore.”
