The man has been identified…
During President Trump’s recent press conference, a man was shot just outside the White House by a Secret Service officer.
According to the Washington Post, the man has been identified as Myron Berryman. He allegedly approached a Secret Service officer and shouted out, “I’m going to kill you. I’m going to shoot you!“
The @DCPoliceDept confirmed Myron Basil Berryman, 51, was arrested after the shooting near White House yesterday. I obtained the police report, which notes he “stated” to the Secret Service officer who shot him that “he had gun.” The report indicates a gun was not found on him. pic.twitter.com/SnXUw4Yz0b

In the statement from the U.S. Secret Service, the man ran threateningly towards the officer and withdrew an “object” before crouching into a “shooter’s stance.” He was then promptly shot by the officer.
